Anonima/Luci has always worked along the interdisciplinary threshold between light, interior architecture, and music. This virtual talk centers on their core exhibition theme: treating light as an essential connector between space, music, and community. Alberto Saggia and Stefania Kalogeropoulos will present their design philosophy through projects that progressively sharpen this thematic focus.
As one of Italy’s most experimental and prolific lighting practices, Anonima/Luci creates immersive environments that balance emotion with deep technical knowledge. The event, taking place on 26 November at 5:30 PM with free access upon registration on the Luma platform, will explore the relationship between light, sound, and space through an overview of their most significant installations in historic architectural sites transformed into music venues.
The public will then be invited to take a closer look at the genesis, details, and anecdotes behind the studio’s most recent work: Voce, the listening room at Triennale Milano. With the support of images, technical drawings, and video, Alberto and Stefania will walk through their lighting concept for this space, designed as a dynamic system capable of becoming a full scenography for multiple formats: from classical music listening to club nights, from workshops to private gatherings.
Technical insights, site curiosities, and a focus on the lighting sources and programmed scenarios will enrich the presentation, which constantly engages with Muzio’s architecture, restored to its original essence.
The lecture will be held in Italian with simultaneous English translation. At the end of the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with Anonima/Luci.
