At the heart of this 104-meter-long promenade is a record-breaking 11-deck-high stainless-steel dry slide. The sinuous form of the slide becomes a dazzling centrepiece at night, enhanced by the glowing ‘illuminated trees.’ These LED structures, with their rounded profiles and homogenous RGB + 2700k warm white lighting, deliver 480 lumens per meter, combining spectacle with sustainability.

Spanning 2,925 meters, the LEDs operate dynamically via a DMX interface, ensuring energy efficiency through dimming and static modes during off-peak hours.

This eco-conscious lighting design complements the vessel’s commitment to sustainability. Powered by Liquefied Natural Gas, it features advanced water recycling and noise reduction technologies. The MSC World Europa is not only a marvel of engineering but also a beacon of innovation, showcasing how lighting can transform functionality into an unforgettable experience.
